They have had moderate to poor experience with its teachers and administrators. The new principal is indecisive and often refers simple management problems to his Pulaski County Special School District superiors. This administrative disconnect has resulted in poor faculty hiring and management decisions. One of our children is currently struggling with a new teacher. Our twin boys have attended Baker for six wonderful years. There is a great mix of students and parents, and wonderful teachers, administrators, and staff. Parental involvement is extremely high! Baker is not a large school. This year there were 61 fifth grade students. The school revolves around an economics theme. Everything is very well done! Standardized test scores are always high and graduates often fair very well in subsequent grades and schools.
