Christ Lutheran School Reviews

this school is awesome it has great teachers, great principal and it has a great chapel service it is just a wonderful school

i attended there and i am now a sophmore in high school. i was so prepared and i miss it there so much ):

My son attends CLS and I couldn't ask for a better school. He has learned so much and the teachers, staff and principal are all wonderful! I love the way CLS allows the older kids to mentor the younger kids. It's an awesome learning experience for them. And, since God has practically been taken out of public schools, the teachings about God at CLS are a bonus! My son sings and talks about God/Jesus all the time. It is so precious! I highly recommend this school to anyone!! What a great foundation for our kids!

My son started the 7th grade last year (05/06). We really like the school. The principal, office staff and most of the teachers are very accessible. The teachers do seem to genuinely care about the students. Perhaps it should be noted that the Principal mentioned in the negative reviews posted over three years ago is no longer at the school. Since we were not there I do not know if there was actually a problem or not.

My children have been at CLS for 2 years now. It is a fantastic environment for learning. The teachers and staff really care about your child and want to get to know them as individuals. The parents are involved and want to see the school as well as their children succeed.

This is a wonderful school. My son started here last Fall and we have been impressed with everyone at CLS, including the principal. The committment the staff here has to its students in unparalleled. They treat you like family.

My son attends Christ Lutheran School and loves it! The highlight of my day is on the way home when he tells me all about what he has learned. I've been in Little Rock for many years now and would put CLS students up against any other elementary students in the county. I have friends whose children graduated from CLS and are able to excel at any area public or private high school. Christ Lutheran School graduates are well-prepared for success. My son's faith in God has grown as a result of his time at CLS. He participates in devotions, Bible lessons, and chapels. He loves to sing and tell me all about Jesus. I am proud to be part of such a wonderful school.

We have had a great experience at Christ Lutheran. My daughter has gotten a great education with teachers who are loving and take a personal interest. They are more than willing to communicate through e-mail, over the phone or in person. The principal is great and takes the time to come out of the office and talk with parents when they are picking up kids or signing in to volunteer. The extra classes such as music, art, computer also having caring teachers who know each child by name. We love it at CLS.

My child attends Christ Lutheran School and we love it. I think the principal is wonderful and is ready to meet with me at anytime. My daughter has done wonderful here. Our objective is not an 'all white school' as someone giving a review stated. Our objective is a Christian Education for our child. The school is not 'all white' there are a children who are african american, hispanic and asian in who attend. Thank you

Our children have been at CLS since kindergarten (the oldest is graduating from eighth grade this year.) Our experience has been outstanding. The teachers are caring and treat each child as an individual while providing strong academics. The administration is very accessible and receptive to parent input. We have never had a problem communicting with principal or faculty. Our children are all involved in the gifted and talented program which is second to none, especially for a small school. We have experienced a loving, caring community at CLS dedicated to reinforcing the Christian values we teach at home while providing a great education. I would recommend Christ Lutheran School to anyone who shares these priorities.

I have found that the curriculum is old and out dated. The principal refuses to meet with parents and does not support the children. My childs' teacher also refuses to meet with parents unless required to do so. A public school is a much better place for children, unless your main interest is an all white school.

Teachers are great. Poor leadership by self serving principal.
